All mozaWeb user accounts belong to a User Group, which can be either a Teacher or a Student user group.
Teacher and Student user groups can access the same content. The only difference between them is that, with a Teacher account, it is possible to create student groups and assign students to them. These student groups can be used, for example, when assigning homework.
You can only change your user group if you have or your institution has a Teacher licence. Teacher licences are the following ones:
- mozaBook CLASSROOM licence
- Mozaik TEACHER licence
To change your user group, click on your name (1), then My profile (2). Click on Basic information (3), and find the User group row. Click on the pencil icon to switch user groups (4). Choose the Teacher option (5) and click on the green tick (6) to save the modification.
If you have not activated a Mozaik TEACHER or mozaBook CLASSROOM licence, then instead of the pencil icon, you will see an (i) button (4). When you click on it, you will be redirected to the webshop (5) where you can purchase the adequate licence. Please note that if you delete the institution from your profile (for example, when you change to a new institution), your user account will automatically switch to a Student account.
